Nine Signals in the Dark
Nine voices have spoken. Nine lights, steady in the dark.
Each review for The Signal Between Us feels like more than words on a screen. It feels like proof that this story — of Jeff, Zoe, and Carly — has reached someone, resonated, found a home. And now we’re on the edge of ten.
If you’ve read the book (kindle or paperback) and haven’t left a review yet, we’d love to hear your thoughts. Every signal strengthens the others, helping new readers discover the story.

Nine signals, nine readers who took the time to share. Thank you. Here’s to the next one, and the next.

Signaling the Nine
Jamie—I caught your signal a few years ago on social media. You’re a force to be reckoned with in the indie author universe. A champion for independent bookstores and a fount of earned knowledge for the rest of us.
Fran—Your signal reached my clouded soul twenty years ago, about the time it took for Zoe to reach Jeff. A teacher of much more than math.
Garrett—Interestingly, it was in Fran’s class that I met you. A high school freshman who already knew where he was going in life. Clear head, clear signals. You remind me of Dr. Lawson, whose clarity cuts through.
Ellie—If Jeff asked me to recommend a therapist, I’d unhesitatingly recommend you. In the sequel, he chooses Dr. Warren on a friend’s recommendation—inconsequential spoiler, sorry not sorry. I can see you in the role, however, steady and compassionate.
The Sitters—You got there first. I won’t forget. Your signals, fast and furious, are hard to catch, but when I do catch one, it pierces.
Wendy—A signal caught through mutual, radiating sensitivity and determination! You took the plunge and kept swimming.
Rita—Louisiana comes through you. Like Jeff, it’s in your bones. I’m so grateful to have Louisiana readers and I hope more will come.
“Wonder Woman” & “CT”—I don’t recognize your Amazon usernames, but thank you for your kind and thoughtful reviews and for the 4-5 star ratings.

📑 Jeff Griffin’s Notebooks (Fragment)
Nine signals. Nine hands raised in the dark, saying they heard us. Maybe the dark isn’t as empty as I thought. Maybe it never was.
📓 From the Journal of Zoe Griffin MacKenzie
Nine reviews. Dad probably sees shadows. I see proof. Proof that stories multiply, that people are listening and the signal resonates.
